Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as well as a television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they would leave the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her interest in politics to the fact that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and also was able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected people in that country and gained a greater appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
